Collabs + the desire to do more art
Managed to slither around work and scan this!
It’s the collab we did during James Jean Day (AKA last week, friday). It was done in various locations (Ateneo and Bonchon) and people passed the moley around.
The orange cosmic noodles are mine-

I added that orange bit at the bottom (felt gloomy the other day) + origami paper (so the thing didn’t look bare).
Hoo. Right now I should be catching up on pharmacology but since the night is pretty young, I’ll type type a bit. The thought’s a bit overdue but: I really, really want to do more art this year. I mean, yes, last year was brilliant given most of the writing I accomplished, but my artsy painterly side totally got neglected (testament to this is the archives section of this blog. Hello, one work per MONTH. Horrible). This is the problem with juggling a lot of things. I’m like a hydra who needs to chop off some extra heads before they end up biting each other off.
I’ve been drawing the past few days (posting some soon) and I keep goading Geo to work on our super mega overdue collab comic which should be no problem given its supposed 8 page limited glory but since we’re both med students (with an impending quiz next week!!!) who also happen to be perfectionist freaks… this is in art-limbo as of now. I tried suggesting another collab with another friend but I feel our enthusiasm levels for said project are inversely proportional so I don’t know how to deal with that right now :(
But hrrrr other people asides, I really need to start painting more again. And collabs- someone drag me into a collab that will yield rainbows and zombies and paper cranes et al! *scoots away*
